First Teaching Day

Yesterday, November 18, 2009 our group went to our first classroom and the youth leaders taught a college class about the Ohlone tribe. I was so proud of everybody. The students have really been working hard and deserve all of the great things that are coming their way. The group spoke for about an hour or so while eating with the class and it was such an honor for them to share with the class on the level that they did. I really feel like the talk made an impact on both the Ohlone-Sandwich members and the students in the class. I can't wait until people are reading about us and are begging us to come to their classes.
